The Berg- und Hüttenmännischer verein zu Aachen e.V. is not a so-called „color-bearing“ association, meaning we do not wear a uniform association attire or ribbons in our colors. However, the three colors—silver, coal (black), and gold—symbolize the association’s motto: „Pure, Simple, Loyal.“ This motto reflects our aspiration for a fundamental attitude characterized by openness, modesty, and reliability. In addition to the association’s flag and coat of arms, these three colors can also be found in numerous mementos collected over the years in our association house.
